This major mainly carries out scientific research in the following directions:

The scientific research and teaching experimental base is well-built and well-equipped. The area of the stomatology experimental teaching center is 700 square meters. The Psychiatry Department of Wenzhou Medical University that is, Psychiatry and Mental Hygiene, was established in 1982. The practice base relies on the national key clinical specialty of psychiatry, with a teaching and experimental space of 4,000 square meters, equipped with a psychological examination room, a brain function testing room, a psychological treatment room, biofeedback therapy, polysomnography, etc. In addition, the school also has basic neurobiology laboratory, animal behavioral experimental platform, etc., which can be used to train graduate students, molecular biology center, eye tracker, CT machine, MR machine, ECT machine, SPECT machine and other equipment.

In recent years, the discipline has published more than 100 academic papers in professional journals, edited more than 10 textbooks and books, and participated in the editing of many textbooks.
